Netflix are hiring professional binge-watchers to rate and review their programmes – Mirror Online

What did you want to be when you were younger?

And, as an adult, how many times on a grey, hungover Sunday have you wished you could make a living from binge-watching your favourite TV shows?

Now Netflix is here to make all your secret career aspirations come true.

The mega-popular entertainment company are searching for a film and TV fan to help go through its extensive catalogue and watch it all.

All you have to do, according to Esquire , is “watch, research, rate, tag, annotate and write analysis for movie and TV content” as an editorial analyst of original content.

Yes, ‘binge watcher’ officially became a job title.

There are few boxes you need to tick first, though.

The lucky candidate will have to have a good general knowledge of film and TV, which, if you’re already a Netflix aficionado, should come easily to you.

They would also have to be able to summarise whatever it is they’ve watched, and have serious binge watching stamina.

Applications for the no-doubt coveted position have since closed, and there was no salary sum mentioned.

But, whatever. We’re already basically doing this job for free anyway.

It’s an exciting time to join the Netflix team.

The streaming giant have some highly-anticipated new releases coming out in April, including Jaws, Knocked Up and The Blues Brothers .
